\"UPS\"Logistic service provider UPS opened an automated package sorting and delivery facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The hub facilitates cross-border trade while it enhances package delivery service for small and large businesses. The new hub is 27,000m2 and is equipped with advanced automation technology. It has the potential to sort 40,000 packages per hour but is starting with 29,000 packages.

It is the fastest growing part of the Netherlands where speed and reliability count. The facility provides fast and efficient connections to UPS's smart global logistics network, which moves 3% of the world's GDP every day.\"

Eindhoven is strategically located for a large European region. Its key industries include high tech and healthcare. The new facility transits goods travelling through the region to help ensure fast and reliable flows of goods between the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The hub is part of the European investment plan which aims to modernise and expand the UPS network across the continent.
