YouTube wants to try out AI-generated quizzes to reveal whether users understand the concepts being explained or not. The results could help develop new tools to accelerate users' learning.

YouTube content creators cover many topics, and their channels can be diverse. However, we can assure you that the number of videos produced for educational purposes is very high, and this has been a resource used by everyone at some point to learn.

The Youtube team is aware of this phenomenon and the influential learning tool users can rely on to extract knowledge. Due to the great utility found in these resources, the team has created additional features to make these videos easier to understand, such as dividing courses into different lessons.

Recently, a new dynamic has been established for these videos, focusing on self-taught individuals. To achieve this, YouTube states that it is testing AI-generated quizzes in the user's feed based on the latest videos watched on the platform.

AI-generated quizzes

We have access to a whole world of learning possibilities that have never been seen in any previous generation, and knowing how to harness and leverage them is key to getting the most out of it.

After completing the mentioned quizzes, Youtube will show you a link to a video where you can review the content based on your questions. In fact, although it is optional, it can be very helpful to check if you have understood the concepts you wanted to acquire.

These functionalities are currently in a testing phase, so we will have to wait and see if Youtube decides to incorporate them or make different improvements to the platform in the future, and observe the learning outcomes.
