ENVIRONMENT

Despite the ongoing success and growth of e-commerce, supply chains continue to experience
high employee turnover, competition for warehouse space, and a reliance on plastic packaging
solutions.
abor and space challenges, material efficiency,
and environmental impact are top of mind for
Le-commerce brands. The “pull” of customer
preferences paired with a “push” from developing
regulations on plastic use in packaging make
sustainable void fill options increasingly desirable.
In response to these trends, Ranpak has developed
the FillPak Trident Mini™ void fill solution,
leveraging our innovations in paper packaging to
create a converter that has been designed to thrive
within e-commerce warehouse environments.
Paper void fill is solving key e-commerce challenges
The first thing to note about the FillPak Trident Mini™- is
in the name; it belongs to the FillPak family of paper void fill
solutions which have been providing effective recyclable void
fill to businesses around the world for decades. With tens of
thousands of machines in use around the world today, the
proven track record of the Fillpak converter family and the
material it produces provides a foundation for updates that
make the total package more effective for today’s e-commerce
warehouse.
At present, the global growth of e-commerce has led to
a proliferation of warehouse environments with similar
packaging needs. Competition for space in many countries
has led to increased costs for warehouse real estate, which in
turn means it is more important than ever that workstations
and packaging solutions are optimized for ergonomics. The
Trident Mini excels in both sustainable materials usage and
adaptability. The lower profile converter is mobile and can
be oriented ergonomically around a pack bench or even
integrated into the footprint of a pack station suspended over
a table.
