2022 HERE WE COME
he holidays are almost over, and we are heading into another new year. I am
hopeful that 2022 will bring a lot of new opportunities for you and your
Te-commerce business. Of course, a new year also means that it is time for New
Year’s Resolutions. I wonder what your online cross-border New Year’s Resolutions
might be?
One out of four online orders is a cross-border purchase, and in the upcoming years’,
cross-border e-commerce will keep growing. In other words, don’t miss the opportunity.
Maybe the time is right to expand your business to a new market? Or are you more
focused on things like improving your delivery times or customer experience? What
about making your business more sustainable? Anyway, all I hope is that you are able to
accomplish whatever you set out to do in 2022.
Also, in 2022, several different trends for e-commerce sales will emerge. What about
the trend that more and more companies waive Black Friday because of sustainability
reasons? In a small poll that I posted on LinkedIn, 75% of voters were in favour of
this trend and said that we have to stop with this sales overload
which places a lot of pressure on our environment when we look
at logistics, packaging, and of course, stressed-out people in the
COLOFON
warehouse. Maybe food for thought?
