Although cross-border selling has become normal, many challenges still occur.
A good example is Brexit. As I write this, it still is not completely clear if there
will be a deal or no deal concerning customs and taxes for import and export to
the United Kingdom. Furthermore, we have to pay VAT for the single market. If
everything goes well, we will have a much easier way of treating VAT within the
European Union in June 2021. Either way, e-commerce, in general, is very dynamic
and even more so if you sell in multiple countries.

A lot of companies are dealing very well with international selling, and that is
why Cross-Border Magazine is introducing the very first
Cross-Border Magazine Awards. The winners of the awards
are companies specially chosen by our partners because of
their outstanding e-commerce and cross-border performance.
Companies which have proven to have the courage, COLOFON
endurance and drive to conquer other markets.
