Across Europe, businesses are feeling the pressure of increasingly complex sustainability
regulations. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
(CSRD), along with other EU frameworks, has led to what many
now call “CSRD fatigue” a growing sense of being overwhelmed by
data demands, cross-functional coordination and overlapping rules.
In response, the European Commission has begun easing reporting
obligations for smaller companies, acknowledging the strain. At
Bleckmann, we understand this fatigue. Preparing for CSRD is
demanding. But while some see it as a compliance exercise, we see it
differently.
