Across Europe, businesses are feeling the pressure of increasingly complex sustainability
regulations. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
(CSRD), along with other EU frameworks, has led to what many
now call “CSRD fatigue” a growing sense of being overwhelmed by
data demands, cross-functional coordination and overlapping rules.
In response, the European Commission has begun easing reporting
obligations for smaller companies, acknowledging the strain. At
Bleckmann, we understand this fatigue. Preparing for CSRD is

demanding. But while some see it as a compliance exercise, we see it
            differently.

ot compliance but commitment “We have always been a RON THIJSSEN
For Bleckmann CSRD is not about ticking boxes. part of the problem. Now MANAGER CSR

sustainability journeys. Our 2025 CSR Report reflects this a journey, not a destination. The key is not only achieving
mindset. We believe: big goals, but also implementing concrete steps in smaller
projects is just as important.” Yes, CSRD fatigue is real.
3 Transparency builds trust and resilience But we choose to see reporting as an opportunity for
3 Responsible logistics are essential for the future of meaningful change. It helps us focus on what matters
fashion and lifestyle most: reducing emissions, improving working conditions,
3 Real impact comes from long-term commitment, embracing circularity, and strengthening collaboration with
not quick wins. clients and partners.

We’re honest about our progress and our imperfections. Progress, not perfection
Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. This report At Bleckmann, we know sustainability is not a checkbox it’s
highlights both our achievements and the challenges we a journey. And like any meaningful journey, it comes with
still face. By being open, we aim to foster dialogue and missteps, tough lessons, and moments of reflection. But
build credibility with our stakeholders. progress is only possible if we’re willing to move forward,
even when the path isn’t clear or perfect. Our 2025 CSR
We want to be part of the solution report is a snapshot of where we are, where we’ve been
Ron Thijssen, Bleckmann’s Manager of Corporate Social and where we want to go. It reflects our mindset: one of
Responsibility (CSR), puts it plainly: transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
