Companies prefer face-to-face networking: 55% decided to attend the physical version of Digital 1to1 events in 2020

2021’s calendar brings new opportunities to do some face-to-face and virtual networking at the Digital 1to1. Spring edition in March, Summer in June and Fall in October combined with the vertical Dinners by Digital 1to1, Pharma and Customer service in April, Consumer goods in May, B2B in July, Logistics in September, Fashion in November and Travel in December.

Digital 1to1

2020 was a complicated year for Networking events due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this difficult situation, Digital 1to1 achieved more than 2,600 1to1 meetings combining face-to-face networking events with virtual ones. 

By reinventing the experience and adapting it to the new needs 665 Digital Commerce Professionals could meet and create new business opportunities in a safe way and following all the security measures needed to make it possible.

In the events organized during the second half of 2020, attendees could choose if they prefered to attend physically or virtually to the events and 55% of them decided to be there to have their meetings face-to-face.

Security measures were specially designed to ensure the safety of all the participants consisted in temperature checking, constant decontamination of common spaces, methacrylate screens, sanitizer and ffp2 masks for all the attendees.

For a 2021 of reencounters

On March the 17th in Madrid and March the 18th in Barcelona Digital 1to1 launches the Spring edition of its Hybrid networking event combining face-to-face meetings with virtual ones.

The chosen locations are the recently reopened Four Seasons hotel in Madrid and Hotel W in Barcelona. Virtual attendees can be part of the events both days to meet the best professionals in the industry to create new business opportunities from their home offices.

As per Jordi Carulla, CTO at Zacaris: “It’s more quiet than other editions but the quality is the same as other Digital 1to1, businesswise the event was really positive for us.”

Business Matchmaking

A matchmaking program is in charge to seek for the best professional combinations between digital needs and solutions to create relevant and insightful meetings. Most needed digital solutions at the end of 2020 were Fintech, Marketplaces, CRO tools, Marketing automation and Customer experience tools.

Some of the companies who already confirmed their attendance are Cartier, Conforama, Gocco, Balearia, Mattel o Kiwoko and digital solutions such as ABtasty, Mirakl, Aplazame, Webloyalty, Adyen, Braze, Weglot or Quarizmi.
