In its eleventh year, Metapack’s TDC Global 2020 (The Delivery Conference 2020) demonstrated its positioning as a premier networking and delivery insight event in the e-commerce and delivery industry.
This years' event covered 3 streams: E-commerce & Customer Experience; Logistics & Carriers and the Solutions Theatre. Here key themes of influences on the consumers’ path to purchase, sustainability, last mile optimisation and the future of e-commerce were discussed. Talks and discoveries on the the new normal and where new opportunities will emerge in the 2020s were shared.
The event was opened by Bruce Fair from Metapack. He stated: "We [Metapack] are delighted to have achieved one of our most successful starts to the peak period. With less footfall into the physical stores these days and the continuous shift towards e-commerce, retailers need to ensure they are providing consumers with the best possible online shopping experience."
After the opening, the day kicked-off with two keynote presentations, as well as a thought-provoking panel on sustainability. At the same time in the exhibition hall, 30 providers showcased and demonstrated the latest in e-commerce innovation.
At the end of the day, John Clem, General Manager at Metapack, finished with a speech to thank the audience and exhibitioners. He once more higlighted Metapack’s commitment to driving industry education of the importance of the consumer online and delivery experience.
Bringing a varied, qualified line-up of sponsors and speakers, TDC Global 2020 continues to be one of Europe’s high-valued gatherings for the e-commerce industry. A total of 97% of visitors say they would recommend to visit TDC Global.
