DHL publishes guide to cross-border e-commerce opportunity

DHL has published a guide to cross-border e-commerce: The 21st century Spice Trade. In the face of technology and transport advancements having changed the way we trade, international commerce is accessible to the majority of players in the market.

Consumers are driven to look beyond their borders by appealing offers, availability and better purchase conditions. Retailers now need to seize the opportunity, get their organization ready to trade cross-border and remove clients' reservations.

The UK, Spain, Ireland and Austria all boast more than 40 percent of their top online sellers seing more than 15% of their traffic coming from international consumers:
