ChannelEngine, the marketplace integration platform for distributed commerce that enables brands and retailers to manage and optimize their product offerings and orders through online sales channels, announces €5 million in Series A financing led by INKEF Capital, with the participation of the existing investor Airbridge Equity Partners.

ChannelEngine's mission is to bridge the gap between e-commerce platforms and external sales channels such as Zalando, bol.com and eBay. The company has just raised a new SERIES A funding round of €5 million, enabling it to accelerate global expansion and drive the development of their product and channels. The current need for solutions in the market, combined with the speed with which companies are moving to a direct sale in the consumer market (D2C), makes this the ideal time to take advantage of ChannelEngine's position and scale up quickly. ChannelEngine is currently expanding to Europe, the US, Canada and Mexico.

“It goes without saying that the company has grown enormously by hitching a ride on COVID, although the pre-COVID figures were already more than impressive. And with brands now increasingly moving directly to consumers, the customer base now boasts some pretty impressive global brands. For us, it was the interesting market position, the traction and last but not least the in-depth domain knowledge of the e-commerce team that made us decide to make this strong conviction-based investment. ”Kyang Yung, Managing Director INKEF.

"The retail and e-commerce landscape is rapidly changing. E-commerce accounts for an increasing share of global retail sales. Customers have shifted their search for products from search engines to marketplaces. Major e-commerce players, but also search engines and comparison sites are turning into marketplaces. All this creates a lot of opportunities, but also challenges quickly arise around the management of all these possible sales channels. That's why we built ChannelEngine, a powerful Software as a Service platform that offers Brands, Retailers and Distributors. enables them to connect, automate and manage their sales across all these international sales channels ”. Adds Jorrit Steinz, CEO & Founder of ChannelEngine.
