Checkout Charlie expands to Spain and Italy

Checkout Charlie GmbH, a company of the RTL Germany media group, is expanding to Italy and Spain. The German e-commerce and affiliate expert has launched two new voucher portals for (Italy) and (Spain). Smart shopping with a focus on vouchers, discounts and native advertising.

Two new portals

Checkout Charlie has created two new points of contact. in Italy and in Spain. Currently, the Berlin-based company for smart online shopping operates a total of 14 portals in six European countries. “The internationalization towards Spain and Italy was the next logical step. Both countries have growing e-commerce markets that offer great potential, ”said Martin Riess, Managing Director at Checkout Charlie. Both portals launched on June 30th.

Thriving online retail offer

Italy and Spain with their thriving online retail offer perfect conditions for the new portals: Italy has the fourth largest voucher market in Europe after the United Kingdom, Germany and France. In addition, 21% of the top retailers are already active in the couponing area - another 33% want to invest in affiliate marketing in the future.

Spain's e-commerce market is still relatively undeveloped in a European comparison. However, since 2018 the voucher and cash back market has been growing steadily, so the new portal should be the answer to the growing demand.

Shopping companions

Checkout Charlie explains that each online retailer has its own website on both portals, which lists the latest vouchers and offers. It also provides relevant information on the redemption conditions and contact details of the company. However, the portals are not just pure voucher providers. They are also shopping companions. They provide informative and customer-oriented content created by the international in-house team. The user is advised on his shopping experience and guided through the buying process.
