In an industry where technology evolves at the speed of light, LogiCommerce celebrates 25 years as a pioneer in Spanish e-commerce. Some LogiCommerce key insights:

  • Born in 1999, LogiCommerce was the first Spanish e-commerce platform
  • Estimated group turnover of 3 million in 2024
  • World-renowned companies rely on LogiCommerce
  • 10% growth forecast for 2025

LogiCommerce was born in 1999, and an entrepreneur desired to bring his vision to the decade that would change the digital landscape worldwide. Although today more than half of the world's population is connected to the network, in 1995, less than one person in 100 had access to the Internet and - in Spain - there were only 40,000 connected devices.

It was just in 1995 when the digital thermometer began to rise with the birth of eBay or Amazon and the appearance of Google in 1998, just one year before the founding of LogiCommerce.

In Spain, the first online store appeared in 1996 when Barrabés, a specialist in mountain equipment, opened the way to the digital world by publishing its catalog online.

In these 25 years, the digital transformation has accelerated vertiginously and LogiCommerce has helped in their digital strategies to more than 700 companies around the world as MUNICH, eseOese, Volkswagen, or Torrons Vicens, among many others.

Innovation and resilience: the key to LogiCommerce's success in a challenging global environment

The LogiCommerce group has demonstrated solid business development, as it expects to close 2024 with a turnover very close to 3 M€ (very similar to that of 2023) in an environment marked by the general uncertainty of the economy, the contraction of investment in e-commerce by retailers and intense competition due to the entry of international players in the Spanish market. This demonstrates the strength of its strategy, which its continued and growing customer confidence has confirmed. Looking ahead to 2025, the group expects overall growth of around 5-10% in turnover.

"Twenty-five years ago, e-commerce was nowhere near what it is today. In all these year,s there have been easier and more difficult times, but the trick has been to keep innovating and work side by side with our customers to stay ahead of market changes. My colleagues always pick on me because I'm never standing still, but it's the way to move forward, and besides, I have a good time." Màrius Rossell, CEO y fundador de LogiCommerce

In a constantly evolving environment, the Barcelona-based company continues to drive the digital ecosystem thanks to the trust of its customers and its commitment to continuous innovation. In 2011 they were pioneers launching the Cloud Commerce concept, in 2022 they redesigned the technology to create a Headless model increasing customization capabilities, in 2023 they launched the LogiCommerce Connect event in which more than 400 professionals from the Spanish digital sector have already participated, an event that will celebrate the third edition in 2025 to commemorate 25 years surrounded by customers, partners and industry professionals.
