Mangopay announced it's new VP for Global Sales: Tristan Torres

Mangopay has announced the appointment of Tristan Torres Velat as its new Vice President of Global Sales. Torres, who previously held the position of Head of Europe at Mangopay, has been a key part of the company since joining in April 2023.

In his new position, Tristan Torres Velat will lead the sales team, focused on expanding Mangopay's market share in Europe and other strategic regions. His duties will include overseeing global business development. Torres will assume the new position from the fintech's offices in Madrid and his main mission will be to identify and leverage new business growth opportunities, while building and strengthening customer relationships, ensuring their permanence over time.

In the words of Tristán Torres Velat: "Mangopay is in a moment of exceptional growth: the firm has more than 250 million end users and has recently surpassed 100 billion euros in transactions processed. I am excited to take on this new challenge and to continue to contribute to Mangopay's development by supporting our customers with innovative solutions tailored to their needs. My goal is to further strengthen our position in the platform payments market."

Tristán Torres Velat has a solid track record in the technology and payments industry. He holds a degree in Law from the Universitat de Barcelona and completed an MBA in Business Administration at Esade. Before joining Mangopay more than a year ago, he worked at firms such as Deliveroo, where he was General Manager in Singapore, and Amazon, where he held the position of Regional Director of International Business in the MENA region.
