German fashion manufacturer Tom Tailor launched an online shop in Switzerland (www.tom-tailor.ch). The fashion brand is online already active in more than 20 European countries, including Germany, Spain and Sweden.
Stefan Wenzel, Global Vice President Digital, says: “The digital business at Tom Tailor is developing well. In the second quarter alone, we were able to scale our Tom Tailor e-shops above the market at 26%. Switzerland is an attractive online market for us through our wholesale and retail business activities enjoy a high degree of brand awareness.”
E-shops combine technology and brand experience
Since the end of 2017, Tom Tailor has been operating all its digital activities within in-house. The in-house developed e-shops, on the one hand, use technology, for example for personalization, for cross-selling, for intelligent product lists according to user interest and the integration of social media including direct connection to the product catalogue. On the other hand, the e-shops are the reference point for the brand, which is the second focus on the specially developed content, the visual language and thus on the user experience.
