French FM Logistic expands in south Russia

RuslandFM Logistics, a French founded company, expands its logistics activities to the south of Russia. Here, it has opened a 35,000m2 warehouse near the city of Rostov-on-Don. The new warehouse is built to service the region's growing food, retail and manufacturing markets.

The logistics company has been active in Russia for close to 25 years, making it an experienced service provider. It operates more than 800,000m2 of warehousing space in the country.

Warehouse construction

The new warehouse is located on a 20-acre site. FM Logistics uses a new temperature-controlled warehouse was designed by FM Logistic's sister company NG Concept. Construction of the new warehouse to complete took over 15 months. The warehouse will hold up to 50,000 pallets of products. The facility offers storage, handling and co-packing services, bringing new jobs to the Rostov region.  The Rostov region benefits from a network of improved roads, built or renovated ahead of the 2018 Soccer World Cup. Rostov was one of 11 host cities.
