Intershop launches Commerce-as-a-Service cloud solution

partner-intershop-smIntershop Communications has announced its new cloud solution: the Intershop Commerce-as-a-Service (CaaS). According to Roelof Swiers, Country Manager at Intershop Communications Benelux it offers a cloud-based solution for digitalisation projects. "The service offers a scalable commerce channel with minimal setup costs and implementation time," states Swiers. The CaaS combines e-commerce technology with Microsoft Azure, a well-known public cloud platform. It offers a transparent pricing combined with the highest security standards of Microsoft Azure.

According to research conducted by KPMG and Bitkom Research, almost two-thirds of all companies are using a cloud service. It is predicted that this number will increase.

Intershop is a leading supplier of innovative e-commerce solutions for the B2C and B2B commerce market, focussing on omnichannel solutions.
