The new location in Zielona Góra, on the western border of the country, offers considerable strategic advantages for cross-border retailers. These are faster delivery, lower delivery- and return costs and lower costs for customer service regarding delivery in and from Poland. It makes it possible for cross-border online retailers to sell easier, faster and cheaper.

Local deliveries

Local deliveries will benefit online retailers selling in Poland. From the new logistic hub, Salesupply offers retailers to deliver faster with low delivery costs throughout Poland. As the period before delivery is shortened, this can result in less customer contacts. There is less time to ask questions.

One system

Apart from the new location in Poland, Salesupply currently offers its fulfilment services from the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the USA and China. From these hubs, parcels can be globally delivered while the online retailer controls its logistics in one system. Ludo Verlinden, Global Business Development Manager at Salesupply, comments: “By fulfilling locally in Poland, we can save retailers €4 to €6 per parcel. Above all, the parcel will be delivered the next day. This way Salesupply offers cross-border online retailers the opportunity to achieve a better local customer experience through cross-border fulfilment. By opening the Polish hub, deliveries in Poland and surrounding countries will be cheaper and more convenient. For example, the Czech Republic and Berlin are only two hours away from the warehouse.”

Cash on delivery (COD) crucial to conquer Poland

In Poland, consumers often prefer to use Cash on Delivery (CoD) as a payment method. In 2018, almost half of online orders chose this payment method. With the opening of this fulfilment location, Salesupply provides CoD as a payment/delivery option.
