Amazon has launched Haul, a new low-cost online store that aims to challenge platforms such as Temu and Shein. As announced by the company on its official blog, Amazon Haul offers a wide selection of products for less than 20 dollars, from fashion, home, and lifestyle to electronics.

In addition, said store brings essential changes, such as delivery times with an average of one to two weeks, paying more than 2 euros in shipping costs, and items shipped from logistics centers located in Guangdong (China).

“Finding great products at rock-bottom prices is important to customers, and we continue to explore ways we can work with our merchant partners so they can offer products at ultra-low prices,” said Dharmesh Mehta, vice president of Global Merchant Partner Services at Amazon.

“Amazon Haul aims to help make shopping for fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics, and other products even more fun, easy, and affordable, all backed by Amazon's A to Z product guarantee so customers can shop with confidence that the products they buy are safe, authentic and in the expected condition. These are the early days of this experience, and we will continue to listen to customers as we refine and expand it in the coming weeks and months,” the executive added.

Amazon Haul is available in beta and only in the U.S. market, although it is expected to reach more people in the coming months.

Amazon Haul will work independently from Amazon

As detailed by the company led by Andy Jassy, Amazon Haul has its own shopping and payment experience so that customers can get many products at low prices. It can be accessed from the Amazon Shopping app by searching for 'Haul' in the search bar, navigating to Amazon Haul from the main menu icon, or accessing this link from the browser.

All items are priced under $20, most are under $10, and some are as low as $1. In addition, “customers can enjoy further savings when they add more products in a single order, with a 5% discount on orders of $50 or more and a 10% discount on orders of $75 or more.”

For its part, for any item a customer decides not to keep, Amazon offers free returns on all Amazon Haul purchases over three dollars within 15 days of delivery. It also provides customers with “convenient and hassle-free” returns.
