Amazon has announced the arrival of its Spring Sale, which will take place this year from midnight on Tuesday, March 25th, until Monday, March 31st. According to the company's statement, customers will be able to enjoy offers on hundreds of thousands of products in all categories, including everyday essentials, home, electronics, sports, fashion, beauty, and much more.

Starting on March 18th, customers can take advantage of the first offers on a selection of Amazon devices and discounts on Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials.

You must have an Amazon Prime subscription to enjoy these types of campaigns. However, on this occasion, Amazon has announced that everyone can enjoy its new Spring Sale 2025 event, even if they don't have a Prime subscription.

Amazon Spring 2025 sales and promotions

As for the products you can buy, Amazon will offer discounts on its entire catalog, so you can buy everything from fashion to appliances and technology. For example, the whole Amazon product catalog will receive a good discount.

In this context, Amazon has mentioned that 46% of online shoppers say the savings from promotions are one of the top three reasons they choose a retailer when shopping online, and that online shoppers think transparent pricing with no hidden fees (49%) and a wide range of product options (39%) are among their top three most important things when it comes to shopping online.

Amazon Spring Sales Overview

Below is a brief overview of how Amazon’s spring sales performance has evolved in recent years:

In 2024, Amazon launched its first dedicated Big Spring Sale, which helped reverse a downward trend in previous years.

During the dedicated event, sales lifted by about 3.1% over the trailing four‐week average—with some sources noting a 5.9% year‐over‐year increase—demonstrating that a focused promotional effort can reinvigorate seasonal performance. In contrast, during 2023 (and similarly in 2022), when no dedicated spring sale was held, the seasonal period delivered only modest gains (around 1% in 2023), reflecting a gradual decline from earlier years.

Although exact figures for 2022 were not explicitly disclosed, industry analyses indicate that the overall trend had been falling—from an 8.5% lift in 2020 down to 1% by 2023—until the targeted event in 2024 helped drive a turnaround.
