Temu and Shoppingfeed Join Forces to Connect European Sellers to Global Markets with a new partnership to empower European brands with seamless, cross-border e-commerce capabilities.

Bridging Local Businesses to a Global Audience

A new technology collaboration between Temu, the global marketplace under PDD Holdings, and Shoppingfeed, a leading multichannel e-commerce automation platform, now allows European merchants to effortlessly manage product listings, inventory, and orders across multiple regions.

Following this Temu and Shoppingfeed collaboration, sellers can now synchronize their stores on Temu’s Spain, Germany, and France sites via Shoppingfeed—automatically updating catalogs, stock levels, and orders in real time—eliminating the hassle of multiple backend systems.

Overcoming Technical Barriers

For European merchants, expanding internationally typically involves juggling disparate systems, manual syncs, and inconsistent inventory data. This integration solves those challenges by offering:

  • Automatic synchronization between Shoppingfeed and Temu
  • Real-time inventory updates to prevent overselling or stockouts
  • Unified performance monitoring across all supported sales channels (200+ marketplaces and 800+ traffic platforms)

“Our goal is to make it easier for small businesses to connect with consumers worldwide and grow,” said a Temu spokesperson, highlighting how the partnership removes key obstacles for European sellers.

Part of Temu’s Expanding European Strategy

Since launching in September 2022, Temu has grown rapidly, now serving over 90 global markets. It was named the most-downloaded shopping app worldwide in 2024, and the momentum continues into 2025.

European expansion has been a clear focus. Research shows Temu’s EU sales jumped over 60% year-over-year as of mid-2025, with France nearly doubling its share. Meanwhile, Temu has ramped up advertising investment in key markets like France and the UK, signaling a long-term commitment to regional growth.

Local-to-Local: Driving the Future of European Sales

Temu projects that up to 80% of its European sales could soon come from a local-to-local model—European suppliers selling directly to European customers. This initiative is part of Temu’s broader effort to offer more locally relevant products while supporting regional economies.

Temu has officially opened seller registration in several EU markets, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the Netherlands. Currently, it charges no base fees or commissions and includes advertising at no cost for local sellers.

“This partnership with Temu represents an important step forward for Shoppingfeed in the European markets,” said Stéphane Guenin, VP of Sales Europe at Shoppingfeed. “It allows us to integrate with one of the fastest-growing global marketplaces, helping local sellers automate and scale their operations in an increasingly competitive environment.”

Key Growth Metrics for Sellers

  • 292 million monthly active users worldwide, including 92 million in the EU
  • $70.8 billion in gross merchandise volume (GMV) in 2024—up from $18 billion in 2023
  • Among the top 5 shopping apps in Europe in Q1 2024
  • 2–3 million weekly downloads and 22–26 million weekly users across European markets

These figures highlight the scale and momentum behind Temu’s global and European growth, making this partnership especially timely for merchants seeking to scale internationally.

Expanding Offerings with Local Fulfillment

Beyond onboarding new sellers, Temu is building up its local inventory in Europe. In Germany, the marketplace has already partnered with local FMCG suppliers for categories like food, cosmetics, and gardening. It plans to expand this model to surrounding countries to enhance regional fulfillment and reduce shipping times.

By partnering with Shoppingfeed, European merchants can now tap into Temu’s growing local fulfillment infrastructure to boost delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Why This Matters for European Sellers

  1. Faster international market access – Quick onboarding and listing automation
  2. Full automation – Real-time updates for inventory, pricing, and order sync
  3. Improved visibility – Local presence on EU-specific Temu sites builds trust
  4. Low barrier to entry – No upfront fees, commission waivers, and free ad exposure
  5. Global reach – Access Temu’s 90+ international markets through a single integration

The collaboration between Temu and Shoppingfeed is a milestone for European e-commerce. It’s more than just a technical integration—it's a strategic alignment that removes barriers for small and medium-sized enterprises to sell globally.

With Temu’s European strategy focusing on local sellers and fulfillment, and Shoppingfeed’s robust automation platform enabling real-time multichannel control, this partnership sets the stage for scalable, sustainable growth.

European sellers now have the tools and access to compete on a global stage—seamlessly, efficiently, and with a lower cost of entry.
