KIABI, the low-cost fashion global brand, announces the strategic integration of its operations between Spain and Portugal. This decision aims to consolidate and strengthen KIABI's presence in the Iberian Peninsula, enhancing synergies and boosting the brand's growth and international expansion, with special emphasis on the conquest of the Portuguese market and diversification.

José Luis Carceller, who has served as General Manager of KIABI in Spain, will also assume the management of the Portuguese market. This unification will allow a more effective alignment of the business strategy in both key markets, improving responsiveness to their demands and favoring an expansion and market acquisition joint plan for both Nations.

"This integration is a significant step forward in our international growth strategy," says José Luis Carceller. says José Luis Carceller. "The union of our operations in Spain and Portugal consistently positions us to capitalize on new opportunities and further strengthen our regional presence. Both markets are fundamental to KIABI, and we are excited about the prospects this union brings us.".

Spain is KIABI’s second-largest market globally

Spain, currently KIABI's second-largest market in revenue and turnover, will play a crucial role in implementing this unified strategy. The integration will seek to maximize operational efficiency and drive the development of new ideas and talent within the organization.

This decision is in line with the new organization announced earlier this year as part of Mercedes Porro's new strategic direction, which aims to strengthen its traditional store model, develop corporate operations, and launch new brands.

With this integration, KIABI is ready to explore new synergies and reinforce its position as an international leader in fashion. It will continue to offer its customers in the Iberian Peninsula quality products at affordable prices.
